How We Work
Clear, Personal and Built Around You
At Manning Gee Investments, our approach to financial planning is simple: we take the time to understand you, we build a clear plan based on your goals and values, and we support you with ongoing guidance you can trust.
We believe financial planning should feel calm, structured and easy to understand. That’s why we follow a straightforward four-stage process designed to give you confidence, clarity and support at every step of your journey.

1. Initial Contact – A Conversation to Understand What You Need
Your journey begins with a free, no-obligation conversation. This is your chance to tell us what matters most, your goals, concerns, hopes and priorities. Equally, it’s an opportunity for you to understand how we work and whether we feel like the right fit.
There’s no pressure to make any decisions. We only move forward if both sides feel comfortable.
2. First Meeting – Understanding Your Full Financial Picture
During our first formal meeting, we will take a deeper look at your current situation. This includes your values, assets, income, liabilities and your attitude to risk. By understanding the whole picture, we can build a plan that genuinely reflects your life.
After the meeting, we begin our detailed research and analysis to tailor your plan to your circumstances.
3. Second Meeting – Presenting Your Personal Financial Plan
Once your plan is ready, we will meet again to take you through it. We explain each recommendation clearly and show how everything aligns with your goals, values and long-term objectives.
You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions, explore different options and make sure everything feels right. There’s no rush and no pressure — decisions are made only when you’re ready.
When you’re comfortable with the plan, we agree on the next steps and move into implementation.
4. Implementation – Putting Your Plan into Action
This is where everything comes together. Whether we’re setting up new investment accounts, reviewing existing pensions, arranging protection or implementing tax-efficient strategies, we guide you through each step.
We ensure you understand what’s happening, why it’s happening and what it means for your overall plan. We aim to keep every stage transparent, simple and aligned with your long-term goals.
Ongoing Review – Keeping You on Track as Life Changes
Our relationship doesn’t end once your plan is in place. Life evolves, and your financial plan should evolve with it. That’s why we meet at least once a year to:
- Review your progress toward your goals
- Check whether your circumstances or priorities have changed
- Adjust your plan or strategies where needed
- Keep you informed and confident about the path ahead
These ongoing reviews are a core part of how we work, they ensure your plan remains relevant, resilient and aligned with your life.
Understanding You
For us, financial planning is a long-term partnership. That’s why we take time to understand the things that make you who you are, including:
- Your values and priorities
- Your short- and long-term goals
- Important relationships
- Assets and liabilities
- Existing advisers
- The way you prefer to communicate
- Your lifestyle, interests and future aspirations
This deeper understanding shapes your plan from day one and forms part of every annual review. It ensures your strategy grows and adapts as your life unfolds.
